Chris Reid makes music in a little shed behind his house in San Diego—a humble wooden box filled with guitars, salt-air breezes, and just enough space to collect fifteen years’ worth of melodies. Faraway Signs is the result: a series of songs carried across seasons of life, finally gathered, finished, and released so they can stop rattling around his brain. And now that these songs are officially out of the way, Chris is looking forward with real excitement—ready to make better, braver music than ever before.

The album would still be a stack of scrappy acoustic demos if not for Josh Frigo, whose collaboration lifted the tracks into something shimmering and coastal—ethereal beachy soundscapes where there were once only chords. And just to be absolutely clear (borderline aggressively so): this bio was 100% not written by AI. Not even a little. Nope. Definitely a totally human, shed-adjacent creation.
